As President and Private Wealth Advisor of Driscoll Wealth Management, John takes a customized approach to investment and retirement planning. By first gaining a clear understanding of each client's unique objectives, risk tolerance, and financial circumstances, he develops tailored strategies designed to help them work toward their goals. He believes that successful wealth management is built on long-term relationships, ongoing communication, and regular portfolio reviews.
Throughout his career, John has helped clients navigate a wide range of financial planning needs, including wealth accumulation, wealth preservation, retirement planning, and specialized liquidity strategies. His areas of expertise include investment planning and management, corporate stock options, restricted stock transactions, and alternative investments.
John is a proud United States Air Force veteran and brings the discipline, integrity, and commitment to service that defined his military career into every client relationship. He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin.
John is a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative with Equitable Advisors and currently serves as President and Private Wealth Advisor of Driscoll Wealth Management.
John is an active member of multiple men's groups at Austin Ridge Church and has a long history of community involvement. His volunteer leadership includes participation with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA), service with the Treasure Valley YMCA, and serving as President of the Board of Trustees for Olive Crest Abused Children's Foundation in Orange County, California.
John lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife of 32 years, Krista, a Senior Sales Director at Bel Brands USA. Their daughter, Kelly, works as a Medical Sales Representative for Caris Life Sciences, while their son, John, plays professional hockey in the Dallas Stars organization.
